Christopher A. Papa, Esquire

Christopher A. Papa, Esquire, attorney and counselor at law, has a true passion for helping people solve their legal challenges. Since 2006, he has focused his practice on and successfully completed and litigated hundreds of zoning, estate and trust, real estate, Italian dual citizenship and family law cases. Chris currently serves as the solicitor for the Zoning Hearing Board of the City of New Castle.

Chris graduated with honors, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Pittsburgh and ranked in the top 10 of his class at Duquesne University School of Law. While at Duquesne Law, Chris was chosen for the prestigious Trial Moot Court Team and the Community and Economic Development Legal Clinic. While a New Castle Red Hurricane football player, Chris was awarded the “Rudy Award” for outstanding Character, Courage, Contribution and Commitment.

Chris understands the needs of entrepreneurs and real estate investors, because he is both. Chris has significant personal experience with complex real estate investments. Chris, in the past, has also helped to establish several other business ventures, including a non-profit educational corporation in the City of Pittsburgh and an Italian ice cream parlor (Gelateria) in the City of New Castle in 2000.

In the community, Chris has served on the Board of Directors of the American Red Cross, the Board of Directors of New Castle Christian Academy, and served as President of the Board of Directors of the Waldorf School of Pittsburgh. Chris was the founder and first coach of the New Castle Christian Academy Cross County team and currently coaches his daughter’s soccer team for the Wilmington Area Soccer Association. Chris also serves on the finance counsel for both Saint Michael’s Byzantine Catholic Parish and Holy Rosary Catholic Parish, and sings tenor in the church Gregorian chant and polyphony choir.

Chris lives in Lawrence County, Pennsylvania.
